Account & Data Deletion
You have the right to request deletion of your Behaviour Trackr account and all associated data at any time. This page explains how to make that request and what happens to your data.
How to Request Account Deletion
Follow these steps to submit your deletion request:

Send an email to us
Email behaviourtrackr@gmail.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request".

Include your account email address
In the body of the email, include the email address associated with your Behaviour Trackr account so we can locate your data.

Confirm your request
State that you understand the deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. We may send a confirmation email to verify your identity before proceeding.

We process your request
We will process your request within 30 days and send you a confirmation email once your account and data have been deleted.
What Data Is Deleted
Upon successful deletion of your account, the following data is permanently deleted:
- Your account profile and login credentials
- All participant profiles and their personal information
- All activity logs, behaviour records, and session notes
- Shift logs, therapy session logs, and education logs
- Incident reports and follow-up records
- Goal tracking data and progress notes
- Handover notes and generated reports
- Schedule and calendar events
- Budget and financial records
- Uploaded files and documents (invoices, clinical plans, photos)
- Team member associations and access permissions
- Collaboration messages
- Notification preferences and push subscriptions
Data Retention & What May Be Kept
Some limited data may be retained after account deletion for legal and financial compliance purposes:
Billing & payment records
Transaction records and invoice history may be retained for up to 7 years as required by Australian financial regulations.
Anonymised analytics
Aggregated, anonymised usage statistics that cannot be linked back to you or any individual.
Legal obligations
Any data we are legally required to retain under applicable Australian law, including tax and financial record-keeping obligations.
All retained data is securely stored, strictly limited to the above purposes, and deleted as soon as the retention period expires.
